Photography is a very popular hobby. But when it comes to choosing photography as a career, especially advertising photography, the road gets a little tough. Interesting but challenging careers like advertising photography does get a bit strenuous and full of hindrances, but one can really pull it off with patience, perseverance, practice and planning. Training is a vital thing you need to make your career in advertising photography. And so is the finance part.

Earlier, when commercial photographers worked with film cameras, the running costs they used to run into was huge. And probably this was intimidating to people who wanted to take up advertising photography but could not due to lack of finances. But now with the advantage of digital cameras, more and more people are getting into this profession. Digital cameras have reduced the cost of staying in this profession by a huge margin. With digital cameras, you can choose the pictures that you want to get developed. You can delete those which you don't like. And hence, you don't have to waste film rolls on unwanted pictures.
