There are both bachelors degrees and masters degrees available from online education centers. You will need to have at least a bachelors degree in engineering to pursue it as a career. There are a number of things you should consider before taking an online engineering degree. First of all, engineering is not for everyone. See to it that the program is accredited by the National Board of Engineering Education or an equivalent professional accrediting agency. You would not want to make the mistake of studying and paying for a degree that is not accredited. It would be worthless in getting you a job and very unlikely to be accepted as completed credits in another university program.
